Robert Dale Schroder
May 17, 1924 — March 23, 2019
Robert Dale Schroder, age 94, passed away March 23, 2019.
He was born in Honey Creek, Iowa on May 17, 1924 to the late Julius and Ethel (Price) Schroder. Dale graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1941 and then proudly served his country in the United States Army. Dale was a lifetime farmer and active with the Grange Cemetery association.
Dale is survived by his wife of 72 years, Cecile Schroder; daughters, Kathy Risdal (Jon), Karen Johnston (Dean), Jean Swindle (Joel); grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. on Thursday March 28, 2019 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Visitation will be during the hour prior to the service. Interment is in the Grange Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
