Robert Freeman

Robert L. Freeman was born November 13, 1953 in Omaha, Nebraska to Aubrey and Katherine Freeman. He was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School Class of '73. Robert was also known as Bob, Bobby, Bullet and Parnelli to his friends and family.

Bob was a proud longtime resident of Carter Lake, Iowa and it was there that he worked as a Custodian at Carter Lake Elementary School (CBCSD) for 18 years. He was a member of the Carter Lake Parks & Rec. Board and also a member of the Carter Lake Optimists.

After Bob's parent's passing he lived with Lyle & Jeannine Poldberg. It was at that time that he was considered a member of the Poldberg Family.

Bob would spend most of his time at the Carter Lake Baseball Fields where he became a constant fixture.

Bob is survived by his Poldberg Family and the many friends he has made throughout his life.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home in the Community Room.
