Robert William Fulton

Robert "Bob" Fulton, a devoted family man, proud veteran, and lifelong friend, passed away on April 1, 2026, at the age of 78.

Born in June 1947 in Clarinda, Iowa, to Charles and Betty Fulton, Bob grew up with a spirited sense of adventure. In 1970, while serving his country in the United States Navy, he married the love of his life, Jeanne. Following his honorable service, the couple returned to Council Bluffs, Iowa, where they built a life centered on family and community.

In his younger years, Bob spent much of his time on the motocross track. For him, it was never truly about the heat of competition, but rather the camaraderie and the time spent working on bikes and riding with his close friends. That same spirit carried over into his lifelong love of golf. He was a fixture on the course, almost always playing with the same group of longtime friends. He took great joy in introducing his sons and grand sons to the game. Some of his favorite memories were made on the fairway, valuing the conversation and the company far more than the final score.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty, and his siblings, Jim and Becky.

Robert is survived by his wife, Jeanne Fulton; sons, Joe (Amy) Fulton and Troy (Erin) Fulton; seven grandchildren, Nathan, Emma, Owen, Kaylee, Michael, Ashley, and Charlotte; and four great-grandchildren, Mila, Lucca, Isla, and Noella; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, April 12th, 2026.

Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, April 12th, 2026. The family will direct memorials.
