Robert "Bob" Hill

Robert "Bob" Hill, age 93, passed away peacefully at his home on May 21, 2026. He was born July 2, 1932, to William and Hedwig (Achatz) Hill in Nebraska.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He dedicated many years to military service and carried a deep sense of patriotism throughout his life. He was also a proud member of the American Legion Rainbow Post #2 and followed in his father's footsteps through his involvement with the 40 & 8 Military Club in Omaha.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Bessie Hill.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Linda (Drew) Hamilton; granddaughter, Amanda (Julio) Ceballos; 2 great grandchildren, Gabby and Julio Jr.; brother-in-laws, Charles Myhlhousen, Roy (Marsha) Myhlhousen, John (Carol) Myhlhousen; sister-in-law, Eva (Paul) Hamilton; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be 10:00 - 11:00 am Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, May 29, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, May 29, 2026. Interment is in the St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
