Robert K. "Bob" Bogardus

Robert K. Bob Bogardus, age 67, passed away at his home on March 23, 2016. He was born in Council Bluffs on September 28, 1948 to Duane & Gwendolyn (Irvin) Bogardus. Bob graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1966 and then joined his family business, Bogardus Plumbing. Bob was a Mason and was a member of COBIA Lodge. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Duane Bogardus and brother, David Bogardus. Bob is survived by his wife of 33 years, Pam Bogardus; children, Buffy Brunow (Mike Sockrider), Joshua Bogardus (Julie), and Shawn Bogardus (Lindsey); mother, Gwendolyn Bogardus; sister, Jane Lisko (Roger), mother-in-law, Bertie Jones; 6 grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home with a Masonic Service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment is in the Garner Township Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Lighthouse Temple Church.
