Robert James Van Outry

Robert Van Outry, age 83, passed away at Bethany Lutheran Home February 17, 2026. He was born February 25, 1942 to Robert and Onnolee (Wrona) Van Outry in Omaha, NE.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by spouse, Patricia Van Outry; and granddaughter Jenna Morton.

Robert is survived by sons: Mark Van Outry and Steven (LeighAnn) Van Outry; 11 grandchildren: Kara Van Outry, Eric Van Outry, Amber Tracy, Jeremy Clingenpeel, Brian Kreft, Sarah Bartelt, Samuel Morton, Jennifer Jo Morton, Abigail Morton, Jaxon Morton, and Shelby Jo Hargens; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great- great grandchild; brother-in-law, Larry (Kay) Moore; two nephews: Larry (Beth) Moore, Gene (Stephanie) Moore; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 PM at Omaha National Cemetery on Monday, February 23, 2026. The family will direct memorials.
