Robin Lee Jastorff, age 56, passed away at Nebraska Medicine on July 1, 2026.
She was born February 14, 1970 to Douglas and Kathleen (Kallenbach) Harold in Council Bluffs, IA. Robin graduated from Thomas Jefferson high School with the class of 1988 and worked at the Pottawattamie County Assessor's Office for over 22 years. She was member of CityLight Church. Robin lived a life defined by amazing strength, unwavering faith, and a deep commitment to giving back in love. After receiving a lung transplant in 2012, she met every challenge with grace, seeing each struggle as a step toward salvation and a chance to inspire others. She expressed her spirit through vibrant, colorful crafts that reflected the joy and creativity she carried within her. She found peace sitting outside in the sun, letting its warmth settle over her as she listened to her beloved Christian music. Her life was a testament to resilience, devotion, and the powerful ways she shared love with everyone around her. Above all, she was an incredible, deeply loved "Nene", who poured endless joy and affection into her grandchildren's lives.
Freed from the weight of this world, she has transformed - her spirit opening like a butterfly's wings, carrying her into Heaven, where she is finally free.
She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Harold and sister, Rena Schroder.
Robin is survived by her husband, Craig Jastorff; children, Josh Williams (Shannon), Joelle Richardson (Deryck), Cadyn DeSantiago (Andria Stanfill); mother, Kathleen Harold; brother, Ben Harold (Heather); "Nene" to her grandchildren, Avery, Troy, Waylon, Griffyn, Daisy, Lilly, and Baylor; bonus children, Nate Jastorff (Jeannie), Rachel Jastorff, Jordan Lafferty (Rob), Zack Jastorff (Faith), and Hanna Jastorff and their families; a host of other family and friends.
