Roger L. Huffman

Roger L. Huffman, age 75 of Council Bluffs passed away October 16, 2012 at his home. He was born in Harlan, Iowa on August 19, 1937 to the late Bill & Elsie (Erickson) Huffman. He graduated from the Harlan, Iowa High School and then served his country in the United States Army. Roger retired in 1999 after a career as a heavy equipment operator with the Kiewit Construction Company. He was a member of the South Omaha Eagles Club and the American Legion Post #331. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Huffman. Roger is survived by his sons, Kelly Huffman (Donna) and Rickie Huffman (Melanie); step-sons, Chris McMorran and Tracey McMorran; grandson, Nicholas Huffman; best friend, Carolyn Fisher and her children, Sheryl Stowe (Rick) and John Fisher. Graveside service is Saturday 11AM in the Harlan, Iowa Cemetery.
