Ronald C. “Butch” Ettleman Sr., age 80, passed away at his home on January 1, 2023.
He was born February 3, 1942, to the late William and Eileen (Tripp) Ettleman. Butch retired from Campbell Soup after 39 ½ years and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughters, Kimberly and Tammy Ettleman; grandchildren, Jill and Garrett Ruby; brothers, Robert, Ralph, Russell, Rex, and William Ettleman; sisters, Donna Belt, Marilyn Beck, Ada Sangster, and Frances Wunderlich; sister-in-law, Helen Hunt; brothers-in-law, Lawrence Collinson, John Hansen, James Hansen and Bill Hansen.
Butch is survived by his wife of 62 years, Karen Ettleman; children, Shelly Nuzum (Darwin), Ronald Ettleman Jr. (Kim), James Ettleman (Teri), and Lori Ruby (Glen); 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Gloria Hansen and Peggy Eickhoff (Tom); extended family, Robert Hansen (Gail), Frank Hansen (Danette), Sue Widtfeldt (Ray), and Kathy Collinson; nieces, nephews, and cousins; all of the daycare kids throughout the years that he and Karen cared for.
Prayer Service will be held at 4:30 PM followed by visitation until 8:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, January 6, 2023. The family will direct memorials.
