Rose Petry

Rose M. Petry, age 88, passed away at Methodist Hospital on July 18, 2025.

She was born on July 28, 1936, to the late Perry and Rosetta (Stevens) Watkins in Harlan, IA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Petry; step-son, Bobby Petry; brothers, Perry Watkins and Henry Watkins.

Rose is survived by her sons, Michael (Marie) Petry, James (Jessica) Petry, and Jerry Petry; sister, Anna Skokan; grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
