Rosella Myler

Rosella Maxine Myler, age 92, passed away peacefully at Rose Vista Nursing Home September 8, 2025.

She was born November 10, 1932, in Mondamin, IA. On March 25, 1951, she married Paul Myler and together they shared 62 years of marriage before he died. Rosella had a variety of jobs throughout her life. She walked beans, detasseled corn, worked at Mars Café and delivered food to the old missile base near Missouri Valley. Her favorite job was taking care of their three children. Rosella's hobbies were taking care of her plants and flowers. She hunted mushrooms and canned vegetables from the garden. She and Paul traveled in their motorhome and fished and camped at many resorts across the country.

Whenever there was a sporting even that the kids were in, you could find Rosella and Paul in the stands rooting them on. They never missed one of them. Rosella really enjoyed the holidays and enjoyed hosting them. She loved being around her grandkids, great grandkids, and great-great grandkids.

Rosella was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Myler; father, Lawrence Bonham; mother, Berniece (Hatcher) Bonham; step mother, Irene Bonham; brothers, Harold Bonham and Kenny Bonham; half-brother, Larry Bonham; sister, Bernetta Riley; half-sister, Rita Beckhart.

Rosella is survived by her daughters, Corrine Hughes (Richard) and Marlene Nelson (Larry); son, Paul Blaine Myler; sister, Marilyn Hansen; half-sister, Jeanette Navarrette (Rick); 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and 2 more on the way; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Interment is in Branson Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
