Royce Edwin Fastnacht, age 72, passed away peacefully at his home on April 2, 2026.

He was born August 18, 1953, to the late Edwin "Mr. Ed" and Mildred (Muell) Fastnacht in Fort Riley, KS. Royce proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and retired from the Union Pacific Railroad.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra; infant twin sons, Shad and Chad Fastnacht.

Royce is survived by his children, Shawn Fastnacht, Michelle Fastnacht, Nicholle Rinella (Matthew), and Brian Fastnacht (April); siblings, Marlin Fastnacht (Peggy), Byron Fastnacht (Miwa), Karin Blum (Randy), Earl Fastnacht (Virginia), Teresa Tejral (Randy), Dean Fastnacht (Tina), and Rita Cover (Jim); grandchildren, Michael Fastnacht, Richelle Fastnacht, Makayla Fichter, Patrick Kelly, Joseph Kelly, Emma Rinella, Brianna Fastnacht, Jetta Collins, Gavin Collins; great grandchildren, Malachi, Malaya, Maverik, Mayzie, Bryce, Paisley, Harper, and Veyren; nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, April 09, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Interment with military honors will be in the Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
