Sandra Black

Sandra "Sandy" Black, age 81, passed away September 27, 2026. She was born July 6, 1945 to William and Kathleen (Derham) Hoel in Basingstoke, England

In addition to her parents and her mother and father-in-law, Fred & Dorothy Black, she was preceded in death by her step father, John Coppersmith

Sandra is survived by her husband, Kenneth Black; children, Gerald Black, Suzanne Black, Steve Black, Jennifer Black - Shinn (Jarrod Poore); grandchildren, Nathan Shinn, Matthew Shinn and Madison Shinn; brothers, Michael (Linda) Hoel and William (Tracy) Hoel; sisters, Jeannette (Kevin) Washburn, Debbie (Bill) Campbell, and Kim (Tom) Pastore; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, October 5, 2026 at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
Final resting place at Omaha National Cemetery at later date.
The family will direct memorials.
