Sandra L. Rice–Vorthmann

Sandra L. (Boehm) RiceVorthmann, age 77 of Council Bluffs passed away October 13, 2013. She was born October 8, 1936 to the late William & Edna (Reuter) Boehm. She worked for many years at the General Store on the South Omaha Bridge Road and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ira Rice; second husband, Alfred Vorthmann; brothers, William S. Boehm and Creighton R. Boehm. Sandra is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jayna & John Guehlstorff; son and daughter-in-law, Lee & Dawn Rice; grandchildren, Alec Guehlstorff and Ashlee Rice; brother, Keith Boehm; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Thursday 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. A reception will follow the service in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski with interment later that afternoon in the St. Pauls Evangelical Country Church Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
