Sandra "Sandy" Story

Sandra Story, age 77, passed away December 21, 2025. She was born September 24, 1948 to Clifford and Norma (Cook) Hartenhoff in Council Bluffs, IA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph and Leona Hartenhoff and Loyd and Edith Cook.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Shawn Story; daughter, Angela Flood; step daughter, Jennifer (Duane) Hinman; step son, Jeff Story; grandchildren, Clayton Story, Lyndsay (Max) Stednitz, DJ (Dana) Hinman, and Shelby Hinman; 5 great grandchildren, Nora, Wynnifred, Seren, Selah, and Sterling J.; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
