Sarah Tamms

Sarah I. Tamms, age 85, passed away peacefully at Bethany Lutheran Home October 29, 2021.

She was born March 4, 1936, to the late David and Opal (Fountain) McIntosh in Iowa City, IA.

Sarah retired as the clerk of the district court in Pottawattamie County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tom Tamms Jr. and 8 siblings.

Sarah is survived by her husband of 68 years, Tom Tamms Sr.; daughters, Terry (Dan) Justesen, Amme Melegrito; grandchildren, Matt Justesen, Samantha (Adam) Opal, Traci (Jeff) Wigington, Melissa (Jake) Flammang, Nicholas McCoy, Jacob Melegrito, Aliya Melegrito; brother, Arnie (Judy) McIntosh; great grandchildren, Spencer Justesen, Kayleigh Opal, Ashleigh Opal, Carleigh Opal, Ryleigh Opal, Landon Wigington, Paetyn Wigington, Jaydan Wigington, Lexie Flammang, Emersyn Flammang, Hadlee Flammang, Benny McCoy; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She has been cremated and there will be no services.
