Scott Smith

Scott Smith, age 61, passed away October 20, 2026. He was born October 25, 1964 to Lester and Shirley (Waugh) Smith in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by sister, Michelle Smith; and brothers, Michael Smith Sr. and Patrick Smith.

Scott is survived by his wife, Leah Smith; children, Austin Sommer and Cody Smith (Ryan Frangenberg and Adam Johnson); his parents, Lester and Shirley Smith; grandchild, Anson Sommer; sister, Joanna Smith; beloved dachshund, Dasher; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

Final Resting Place at Branson Cemetery.
