Shari Michele Hardisty

Shari "Frenchie" Michele Hardisty, 63, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away March 22nd, 2026.

She was born on November 21st, 1962, in Fremont, Nebraska to Ronald Sr. and Shirley (Weise) Hardisty.

She earned her GED and spent many years as a devoted, hardworking employee at the Truck Haven Restaurant, where she formed countless lifelong friendships. She also worked at Yellow Rose, Catherine's Catering and Decker plastics before health challenges in recent years prevented her from continuing.

She cherished time spent with her family and friends. She loved listening to music that could make her smile or dance, and she especially enjoyed cooking meals to share with those she loved whenever she was able.

Those left to honor her memory include sons; Johnny Taylor of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Joshua (Kim) Taylor of Fremont, Nebraska; her honorary daughter Kaya Weyer of Omaha, Nebraska; her grandsons; Trent Taylor and Daniel Athay, along with two additional grandchildren; her beloved dog Chewy; her brother; Ronald Hardisty Jr.; nieces; Jolynn (Tim), Sue, LaReina (Justin), Michaela (James) and Raven "Birdie"; nephews; Chris (Joyce), Justin and Seth; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family, and many dear friends

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; sisters Sheryl (Hardisty) Fry, Shelly (Hardisty) Green and Connie Christensen; brothers Michael Hardisty and Kenny Pope; and her niece, Cami Jo Green.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
