Sharon, born on June 16, 1938, to Joy Clare Polly and Lillie Mae Sierks Polly, spent her early years on a farm in rural Rodney, Iowa, where she was the eldest of six siblings. An adept bridge player, she added joy and camaraderie to many gatherings. Her warm and welcoming nature extended beyond her immediate circle, earning her a cherished place as a dear friend to many.
