Shawn Taylor

Shawn B. Taylor, age 54, passed away at Methodist Hospital on September 20, 2023 after an 11-year battle with cancer.

He was born October 25, 1968, to Michael and Katherine (Massouris) Taylor in Council Bluffs, IA. Shawn graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1987 and then Peru State in 1992. He retired from Kellogg's.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Taylor.

Shawn is survived by his sons, Nick (Becky) Taylor and Jake Taylor; mother, Katherine Taylor; grandchildren, Henry Taylor, Jane Taylor, and George Taylor; brothers, Phil (Carleen) Taylor and Brent Taylor; a host of other family and friends.

Private services will be held. Memorials are suggested to Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center 8303 Dodge St, Omaha, NE 68114
