Sherry Ruby

Sherry Ruby, age 66, passed away December 8, 2022.

She was born August 19, 1956, to the late James and Sharon Hathaway in Council Bluffs, IA. Sherry graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1974 and retired from Smith Peterson Law Firm.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Ruby; father, James Hathaway; infant brother, Todd Hathaway.

Sherry is survived by her children, Heather (Shawn) Koch and Justin (Lauren) Ruby; mother, Sharon Hathaway; siblings, Jimmy (Kathy) Hathaway, Susan (Paul Neel) Hathaway-Neel, and Tony (Charity) Hathaway; grandchildren, Dalton Koch, Aaron Ruby, Jacob Ruby, and Maura Ruby; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, December 15, 2022.

Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, December 15, 2022. The family will direct memorials.
