Shirley Witt

Shirley M. Witt, age 90, passed away peacefully at Bethany Heights on December 25, 2025.

She was born November 17, 1935, to the late Fred and Vera (Driver) George in Council Bluffs, IA. Shirley attended Beebeetown High School and graduated from Missouri Valley High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Witt; daughter-in-law, Janet Witt; brother, Gene George.

Shirley is survived by her children, Gail Witt (Jill), Duane Witt (Sharon), Eileen Morriss (Randy); 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carole George; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, December 28, 2025.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church LCMS on Monday, December 29, 2025. Interment is in the Grange Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church. The family will direct memorials.
