Stella Mae Hammer

Stella Mae Hammer, age 84, passed away April 5, 2017 at Midlands Living Center in Council Bluffs. She was born on June 26, 1932 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to the late Edward and Cynthia (Fox) Craig.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Cecil Overman and Jack Hammer; special friend, Bud Benson; sisters, Lucille Olsen, Eileen Williams, and Helen Fricke.
She is survived by her sons, Terry (Marcy) Overman and Gary (Lorna) Overman; her brother, Don (June) Craig; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Private family services will be held. Memorials may be directed to American Legion Rainbow Post 2 or Hospice with Heart in Council Bluffs.
