Theodore W. "Ted" Trede

Theodore W. "Ted" Trede, age 80, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at his home in Treynor, Iowa, on September 28, 2024.

He was born February 7, 1944, to the late Bill and Esther (Koch) Trede in Council Bluffs, IA. Ted graduated from Treynor High School and was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Zion Congregational Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ann McClelland.

Ted is survived by his wife, Barb Trede; daughters, Cindy (Todd Baxter) Miller and Mindy (Rob) Campfield; sister, Mary Lane; brother and sister-in-law, Tom & Sue Trede; grandchildren, Shelby (Colton) Cowgill, Mallory Miller, Rowdy Campfield , and Lucky Campfield; great-granddaughter, Sylvie Cowgill; nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Zion Congregational Church, Treynor on Tuesday, October 01, 2024. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM at Zion Congregational Church, Treynor on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Zion Congregational Cemetery or Treynor Fire and Rescue.
