Thomas Lloyd Pester

Thomas "Tom" Pester, age 85, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026.

He was born on February 16, 1941, to the late Robert and Pearl (Miller) Pester.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice (Hoffard) Pester; foster son, Dale Pester; siblings, Robert (Roseanne) Pester, Jim (Lois) Pester, Eddie (Carol) Pester; and Polly Pester.

Thomas is survived by his son, Todd (Pam) Pester of Council Bluffs; nine grandchildren, Crystal (Bert), Robbie (Megan), Nikki (Josh), Brieanne, Brandy, Cody (Denise), Danny, Simon and Jared; 20 great-grandchildren, Dylan, Braeden, Alijah, Johanna, Regin, Riley, Cain, Brayden, Austin, Jakob, Braedan, Bentley, Jaden, Latham, Rhyder, Leila, Bentley, Emorie, Rhianna, and JR and Jasmine; 4 great-great-grandchildren, Keeley, Kavondre, Kayori and Evelyn.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. The family will direct memorials.
