Todd W. Jensen, aged 63, passed away in Nebraska, surrounded by family, on January 7, 2026.
Todd was born on January 16, 1962, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to the late James and Donna Jensen. As a child he played football and developed what would be a life-long passion for wood working. As an adult he turned that passion into a successful career, owning and operating Jensen Cabinet Fronts and Remodeling. There his dedication and craftsmanship carried him through countless projects and earned him the respect of his community. Later in life he partnered with his nephew, generously sharing his knowledge and experience, and ensuring that they would be used to help people for decades to come.
Yet those closest to Todd know his greatest accomplishments were more personal. He had hobbies, many of them solitary like his gardening or his beekeeping. But Todd was always happiest around other people. He had an easy smile and a warm, welcoming spirit. He loved to laugh, and could find the humor in nearly any situation. Because of this he made fast and enduring friendships. With friends throughout his life, he loved to play recreational league sports, cook and bake, pull pranks, and share in adventures at his camper.
Above all Todd cherished his relationships with family. He was endlessly proud of his children and was a devoted father. He never failed to show up to Jaimie's (or "Munchkin's") many soccer games, and then her graduations; he spent hours upon hours gardening with Devin, and later helped him build structures for his own business; he would sneak Holly gas money even when she was supposed to be grounded, and as an adult called her every single day, chatting about nothing and everything. He always made his children feel loved and supported. He especially treasured summers spent with them and his wife Jackie in the backyard at their pool.
He is survived by those children, Holly Romey (Joshua), Devin Jensen (Jennifer), and Jaimie Jensen-DeCicco (Anthony); also his siblings, Debra Holmes, Craig Jensen (Pamela), and Mindy Jensen; and his beloved grandchildren, Kael Romey, Kameron Romey, Kennedi Romey, Kasius Romey, Kruz Romey, Rhilyn Jensen, Reece Jensen, and Rosalind DeCicco; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Todd's kindness, mile-wide smile, and the twinkle in his eyes will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
