Tyler D. Shears

Tyler D. Shears, age 16, of St. Peters, Missouri and formerly of Council Bluffs passed away November 26, 2015. He was born in Council Bluffs on October 26, 1999 to Wayne Shears and Lisa Rasmussen. Tyler was a sophomore at Ft. Zumwalt East High School and attended grade school at Longfellow Elementary. Tyler is survived by his father, Wayne Shears (Kimberly); mother, Lisa Anderson (Deon); sister, Taya Shears; half-brother, Dallas Anderson; step-sisters, DeOnna Anderson, DD Anderson and Stephanie Beaman; grandparents, Randy and Jane Kaufman, Grant and Debbie Rasmussen; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in a local cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
