Valeria Jean Fischer

Valeria Jean Fischer Age 83 of Council Bluffs, IA passed away in Omaha, NE on May 7, 2022. She was born in Council Bluffs, IA on January 29, 1939 to Walter and Ella (Ingwersen) Hager.

Val enjoyed singing karaoke, bowling, reading romance novels, watching crime drama tv shows, helping others and basking in the sun.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; parents, Walt and Ella; brothers, Leonard, Floyd, Kenneth, Duane, Dick and Don; sisters, Ila O'Doherty and Elaine McElway.

Valeria is survived by sons, Jim and wife Tammy Johnson, Bob and wife Kathy Johnson, and Mike Fischer; daughters, Joni Smith and Melissa Nunley; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, family and friends.

Visitation: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 10:30 am Monday, May 16, 2022 also at the funeral home.
Interment at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Council Bluffs.
