Vera Charlotte Davis

Vera Charlotte Davis, age 68, passed away at CHI Health Bergan Mercy-Omaha January 27, 2022. She was born March 8, 1953 to Robert and Esther (Meritt) Renner in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She inherited their loving nature and her mother’s fun, youthful, goofy personality. Vera was able to be amazingly positive and optimistic through all of life's challenges. She was so grateful for all of life's little blessings - enjoying every gift given to her with such genuine enthusiasm, even if it was just socks. Her family will miss giving gifts to her as well as her air banjo playing, constant mispronunciation of words, little conversations with strangers, and random goofy comments. Vera enjoyed spending time with her family, Kansas City Chiefs football, coffee, shopping, reading and drawing. Vera loved taking care of other people, taking care of her clients and striking a conversation with anyone!

Vera was preceded in passing by her two loving parents Robert and Esther.

Vera is survived by daughters, Angie (Mike) French, Mindy Wredt and Jessica (Todd) Thieschafer; sister, Sally (Ric) Thomsen; grandchildren, Haley, Taylor, Sydney, Cora, Jude and Liv; niece, Chris Thomsen; nephew, Justin (Erin) Thomsen; a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
Interment will be held at Ridgewood Cemetery.

The family will direct memorials.
