Vernetta M Clingenpeel

Vernetta M. Clingenpeel, age 86, passed away peacefully at Bethany Lutheran Home on April 19, 2026.

She was born May 1, 1939, to the late Albert and Dorothy (Nance) Hast near Buck Grove, Iowa.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel Clingenpeel; son, Ricky Clingenpeel; daughter, Ruth Clingenpeel; brothers, Dean Hast, Russ Hast, Phillip Hast, and John Hast.

Vernetta is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and David Bradley; grandchildren, Michelle Nixon (Randy), Jeremy Clingenpeel (Tracy), Cheri Boettger (Rob), Darrell Clingenpeel, Shannon Clingenpeel, and Shane Clingenpeel; numerous great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Interment is in Ridgewood Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
