Vernon Ralph Morehouse, age 97. of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away November 26, 2022.
He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on January 3, 1925 to Roy and Ethel (Clark) Morehouse. He was a WWII Veteran in the US Army, truck driver and a member of Teamsters Local 554. Vernon enjoyed playing cards, bowling and having coffee with friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Merle and Cleo Morehouse; and sister, Bernice Joslin.
Vernon is survived by wife, Norma; son, David Morehouse; daughter, Rhonda Powell (Greg); grandchildren, David II, Adam and Rachel; sister, Elaine Hurd; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Friday, December 2, 2022 with Visitation 1hour prior at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery
