Vicente Escobar

Vicente M. Escobar, age 71, passed away peacefully at Northcrest Living Center November 8, 2025. He was born December 3, 1953 to the late Victor Sanchez and Victoria Escobar in El Salvador. He later moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1975. He then moved to Council Bluffs, IA in 1996, where he lived out the rest of his remaining years.

Vicente is survived by his sons, Alex Escobar (Jennifer) and Aaron Escobar; siblings, Ricardo Escobar (Christina) and Dora Escobar; grandchildren, Andrew and Dominic Escobar; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, November 24, 2025 with special remarks to begin at 4:00pm. Final resting place in Cedar Lawn Cemetery at a later date.  The family will direct memorials.
