Vicky Marie Carpenter

Vicky Marie Carpenter, age 67, passed away peacefully at Methodist Hospital on February 1, 2026.

She was born September 20, 1958, to Gilbert "Gib" and Virgene (Daugherty) Stogdill in Council Bluffs, IA. Vicky loved her pets. She loved going on long walks with them and meeting new people. She enjoyed feeding the animals around her house and spending time with her grandkids, family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping and talking to everyone, even if she just met them.

Vicky was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Carpenter; father, Gilbert "Gib" Stogdill.

Vicky is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Heather & Michael Johnston; son and daughter-in-law, Adam & Allie (Townsend) Carpenter; mother, Virgene Stogdill; siblings, Teresa Voss, Sheri Steffee, and Dianna & John Schnackenberg, and Kelli & Randy Dickey; grandchildren, Alex Johnston, Andrew Johnston, Adam M. Carpenter, Ava Johnston, and Abraham Carpenter; nieces, nephews, and cousins; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, February 06, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, February 6, 2026. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
