Wayne “Buzz” Ruby

Wayne K. “Buzz” Ruby, age 77, of Council Bluffs passed away July 15, 2018.

He was born in Knoxville, Iowa on January 11, 1941 to the late Glenn and Nellie (Vos) Ruby. Buzz proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from AT&T.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Dillon, Garrett and Jill.

Buzz is survived by his wife of 54 years, Karen Ruby; daughter, Sheri Baker; sons and daughters-in-law, Troy and Theresa Ruby, Glen and Lori Ruby; sister, Marlene Selk; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Ethan, Hunter, Baylee and Wayne; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. on Tuesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Entombment is in the Ridgewood Mausoleum. The family will direct memorials.
