Wendell Harold Brandt

Wendell Harold Brandt, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home in Lincoln, Nebraska, on June 21, 2026.

He was born September 10, 1942, to the late Harold and Rona (Doehla) Brandt in Holstein, IA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bradley J. Brandt.

Wendell is survived by his wife, An Brandt; children, Cindy Browne (George), Chris Brandt (Katie), and Carol Brandt; siblings, Joyce Gossett and Alan Brandt (Daryn); grandchildren, Nicholas Peploe, Benjamin Browne, and Macy Brandt; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, June 27, 2026. Private interment will take place in the Sunset View Cemetery in Washta, Iowa. The family will direct memorials in Wendell's honor.
