William "Willie" Richard Agans passed on July 22, 2026 in Council Bluffs, IA at the age of 88.
Willie was born on March 29th, 1938 in Omaha, Nebraska. The son of Gerald Agans and Valair Agans Rapp. Willie graduated from Central High School in Omaha. He married Marie Antoinette Parrish of Jacksonville, FL Together for 40 years, they had three children, Deanna, Debra and Steven.
Before beginning his career, Willie served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps. He then worked in the livestock business for over 40 years at Producers Coop and Creston Livestock Auction. After Marie's passing, he married Susan Faulk of Lenox, IA. He continued working, managing his rental properties and driving for SWITA and Lenox Schools. Together for 19 years they enjoyed retirement until Susan's passing. Willie enjoyed boating, fishing, road trips, and most of all people. He would like for you to remember him by his infectious smile that should be passed on to others. Willie was preceded in death by his wife Marie, wife Susan, his sisters, Mary Lou Agans, Dorothy Stoll, Janet Dailey, and Daughter Deanna Grider.
Immediate Survivors include: Debra Wilcox and Rick Wilcox (d) of Omaha, NE, Gary and Deanna Grider (d) of Huntsville, AL, Steven Agans and Morris "Moe" Cleveland of Palm Springs, CA. Family to include: Jody Koziol and Daniel Koziol (d) of Ft. Calhoun, NE , Kelly Cano of Pensacola, FL, Michael Gilbert of Englewood, FL, Kathy Gerleman of Plano, Texas, Cindy Rossi of Englewood, FL Doug and Diane Neuman of Callahan, FL.. Willie had 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and countless friends. A special acknowledgement to our family friend, Norma Gahm of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Memorial Service will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Prairie Gate Senior Living (16 Valley View Dr, Council Bluffs, IA 51503 ). The service will be Livestreamed.
