William Lester Belt

William Lester Belt, age 65 of Silver City, Iowa passed away Monday, April 7, 2014. He was born June 20, 1948 in Council Bluffs to William Henry Belt and Leona Mae Rhodes. He was preceded in death by his father, William Belt, sister, Claudia Green, step-brother, William Henry Belt, sister, Clara Marie. William is survived by his wife, Debra Belt; daughters, Jolene Laakso and husband Michael; Bobbi Brown and husband Bret; Shelly Ochoa and husband Nick; Crystal McClymont and husband Phillip; Jami Escobebo Reyes; mother, Leona Rhodes; step-son, Jay Buffington; step-daughter, Pepper Ohle; brothers, Willard Belt and wife Ginger and Wayne Belt; sister, Beverly Bazerz, Patty Bugg, Joanne Matider; 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many other family and friends. A celebration of life gathering will be on June 14, 2014 at the Lions Club Park in Blair Nebraska from 1:00-5:00 pm.
