Wynona L. Armstrong

Wynona L. Armstrong, age 47 of Council Bluffs passed away January 29, 2013. She was born in Council Bluffs on November 20, 1965 to Richard & Wynona (Strickland) Lewis. Wynona graduated from Thomas Jefferson with the class of 1984. She had worked for many years as a veterinary technician. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Lewis. Wynona is survived by her husband, Rusty Armstrong; daughter, Haleigh Armstrong; mother, Wynona Lewis; sisters, Charlene Barak (Steve) and Goldie Nielsen (Jim); brothers, Richard Lewis (Stephanie), Michael Lewis (Tami) and Herman Lewis; many nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Visitation will take place during the hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Council Bluffs Animal Shelter.
