Xavier Filhiol

Xavier Filhiol, age 29, passed away on September 9, 2025. He was born September 1, 1996, in Omaha, NE, to Daudi Merriweather and Pamela (Moore).

Xavier graduated from Thomas Jefferson/Kanesville High School in 2014. He had a bright and adventurous spirit, even if he was sometimes hesitant at first to try new things. Once he did, his smile could light up any room, and his ability to talk to anyone made him a friend to many.

He enjoyed fishing, skateboarding, and spending time outdoors—whether watching his flowers grow or simply being outside. A passionate football fan, he loved cheering for both Nebraska and the Kansas City Chiefs. Above all, Xavier treasured time with his son, Alonzo, who brought him his greatest joy. He was known for his dancing, his laughter, and the way he made others feel welcome.

Xavier is survived by his father, Daudi Merriweather; mother, Pamela Navaflores; wife, Alexus; son, Alonzo Filhiol; sisters, Kathrun and DaResha; brothers, Diallo, Daudi Jr., and Eric; nephews, Lamarion and Levi; nieces, Levaeh and Leiana; mother-in-law, Jody; along with cousins, aunts, uncles, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, September 18, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
