Betty Lou Doebelin

Betty Lou Doebelin, age 85, passed away peacefully at Bethany Lutheran Home on September 8, 2026.

She was born May 25, 1941 to Perry and LaVina (Lavalette) Calvert in Council Bluffs, IA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Doebelin Sr.; siblings, Joan Jones, Ronald Calvert, Wanda Smith, Nancy Anderson, and William Calvert.

Betty is survived by her children, Patricia Martinez, Mark Doebelin, Paul Doebelin, Donna Doebelin and Larry Doebelin Jr. (Becky); sister, Connie Sanchez; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, September 14, 2026. Interment is in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will direct memorials.
